The Dreamers – Bakery And Coffee

“The Dreamers – Bakery and Coffee” is a cafe that has pretty little cakes and sells hiding places for big dreams. The owner once confided to us about a space with a soft pink color, a little bit of love and a little bit of nobility. He/she wants that space to be light and airy to lead the way to dreams of a place of recovery, gaining momentum to fly higher. Because, pink dreams are like bubbles – fragile, but extremely beautiful. They need space to fly. With enough motivation, no one knows how far they will fly.

“So try to embrace this pink dream, and make it come true!”

Walking around the shop at the corner of Han Thuyen Street, we secretly thought about the second space in Thao Dien that needed more than poetic and dreamy.

And we decided that the main color tone here will be gray white and light pink. The first reason, is that dreams are not always rosy, sometimes they are grey. In a literary way, they are two complementary opposites in life. The second reason, which is also the most important reason for us designers, is the harmony of two colors. Gray and white make the space quiet, creating a premise for the pink color to pop up poetically.

Gray and white can help the mind become light and comfortable, thereby thinking more widely. However, too much gray and white tone will make the space gloomy and lifeless. That’s when pink will do a good job of balancing and creating space harmony. Pink adds life to the space, as if comforting lost souls. These two colors are invisible in common with the value that you want to bring to customers when visiting here.

As for the interior design, we prioritize rounded designs, gently curving shapes, not creating a thorny feeling from tables, chairs to the bar counter. Even the ceiling and walls are soft and delicate curves. The space inside is also decorated with green pots, making the shelter increase the true peace and freshness in the midst of this busy and stressful city.
